Leicester City returned to winning ways after a 2-1 win against Norwich at Carrow Road.

Leicester took the lead through a penalty from Jamie Vardy after the England International was brought down in the area by Sébastien Bassong.

Jeff Schlupp doubled the visitors lead before Dieumerci Mbokani got one back for the Canaries.

Both sides had chances in the second half to score, but it remained 2-1.

Claudio Ranieri made two changes to the side which lost 5-2 to Arsenal, Danny Simpson and Christian Fuchs coming in for Riyad Mahrez and Richie De Laet.

Norwich made one change to the starting eleven which drew 2-2 at West Ham, Matt Jarvis coming in for Jonas Olsson.

The Canaries dominated possession in the opening quarter with Cameron Jerome going close for the hosts.

The Foxes’ first chance of the game came through Okazaki who fired over from Albrighton’s cross.

Leicester were awarded a penalty after Jamie Vardy was bundled over in the area by Bassong. The England international fired past John Ruddy to give the visitors a deserved lead.

Ranieri’s side started the second half the stronger of the two sides and doubled their lead through Schlupp. A beautifully-worked counter-attack, N’Golo Kante finds Schlupp, who gets the ball out of his feet and buried it in the bottom far corner.

Norwich continued to pile on the pressure and were rewarded for their efforts as Mbokani’s outside of the boot finish found the bottom corner. A minute beforehand, Mbokani hit the crossbar.

Both sides had good chances late on, Jamie Vardy firing wide on two occasions and Leonardo Ulloa having a goal ruled out for a foul committed by Huth on goalkeeper Ruddy.
