Jamie Vardy broke Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record as he became the first player to score in 11 consecutive Premier League matches in a tightly contested 1-1 draw with Manchester United at the King Power Stadium on Saturday evening.

Leicester took the lead through Jamie Vardy, but United equalised just before the interval through Bastian Schweinsteiger heading home from a corner.

Claudio Ranieri made one change to the side which won against Newcastle last weekend. Shinji Okazaki coming in for Leonardo Ulloa.

Manchester United reverted to a 3-5-2 formation due to the injury to Marcos Rojo.

The game remained even for the duration of the 90 minutes, with United dominating possession while Leicester counter-attacked when possible.

Leicester are now level on points with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League.
