Saturday at the King Power Stadium will be a day of celebration as Leicester City will be awarded the Premier League trophy after taking on Everton.
After drawing 1-1 against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, Leicester fans up and down the country became Chelsea supporters for one day as Spurs travelled to Stamford Bridge needing a win to keep their slim title dream alive. A late Eden Hazard goal ensured Leicester would win their first ever English top flight title.
Everton will be hoping to upset the party with underfire manager Roberto Martinez needing a win to potentially save his job at Goodison Park.
With both Robert Huth and Danny Drinkwater absent due to suspension, who should fill the void against Everton?
Here is who I think will start on Saturday:
Goalkeeper - Kasper Schmeichel
Schmeichel has started every Premier League game this season and will start against Everton on Saturday.
Right Back - Danny Simpson
Simpson has been a consistent performer for the Foxes and is the only out-and-out right back at the club.
Centre Back - Wes Morgan
Leicester’s captain, a definite starter and will lift the Premier League trophy after the match.
Centre Back - Marcin Wasilewski
With Huth out due to suspension, Marcin Wasilewski is likely to come in.
These last two games could be the Pole’s last two at the club.
Left Back - Christian Fuchs
Like Simpson, Fuchs has been a consistent performer and should start against Everton.
Right Midfield - Riyad Mahrez
Recently crowned PFA Player of the Year. Riyad Mahrez will be hoping to put in another fantastic performance at the King Power Stadium.
Centre Midfield - Andy King
Andy King is the obvious replacement for Danny Drinkwater.
Centre Midfield - N'Golo Kante
The midfield enforcer will most certainly start on Saturday. Let’s hope it’s not his last game at the King Power Stadium.
Left Midfield - Jeff Schlupp
Since replacing Albrighton against Swansea, Schlupp has been one of Leicester’s star performers.
His pace and directness will cause the Everton defence serious problems.
Striker - Jamie Vardy
After missing the last couple of games due to suspension, Jamie Vardy will be hoping to score a few goals in the race for the Premier League golden boot – if he has recovered from his hangover!
