Nine clubs want Lawrence on loan
As many as nine British clubs are keeping tabs on Leicester City forward Tom Lawrence, according to the Daily Mail.
Scottish Premier League champions Celtic and Premier League outfits Swansea and Hull are interested in Lawrence, additionally, a host of Championship clubs including Aston Villa, Brighton, Derby County, Fulham, Nottingham Forest and Wolves have all made enquiries for the former Manchester United man.
The Welshman spent last season on loan at Championship clubs Blackburn and Cardiff, however, currently, Lawrence is not in Claudio Ranieri’s plans for the upcoming season.
Lawrence signed for the East Midlands club in September 2014 for an undisclosed fee. His opportunities at the King Power Stadium have been very limited since signing from the Red Devils, featuring only on four occasions.
The 22-year-old featured in Wales’ Euro 2016 qualifying campaign, coming on as a substitute against Andorra.
He did, however, miss out on a spot in Chris Coleman’s 23-man squad which reached the semi-finals of Euro 2016 in France.
