Leicester looking to sign Anderlecht man Kara Mbodji
Leicester City are reportedly aiming to bolster their defensive reinforcements with the signing of RSC Anderlecht defender Kara Mbodji.
According to an exclusive report from Turkish-Football, the Foxes are among those in the Premier League interested in landing the towering centre-back, who has been superb for Anderlecht in recent seasons.
Kara is a player who has long been linked with a move to the English top flight, and his agent Ediz Balkan has confirmed that a host of Premier League clubs have held initial talks.
The defender was linked with a move to Southampton during Claude Puel’s reign at the club, and it looks as though the new Foxes boss is an admirer of the Senegal international’s talents.
However, if Leicester are to land Kara in the January transfer window, they will need to fend off several other top flight clubs for his signature.
Brighton, Swansea, Newcastle and Crystal Palace have all been linked as well.
