Claude Puel facing the sack at Leicester
Leicester City manager Claude is reportedly facing the sack after his side were thrashed 5-0 by Crystal Palace at the weekend, HITC reports.
Puel was appointed Leicester City manager in October 2017 and despite a bright start to his time with the club, the Foxes have suffered a staggering dip in form in recent weeks.
It’s reported that if Leicester fail to finish the season strongly then the Frenchman is likely to face the axe this summer, especially considering his side were suffered a humiliating 5-0 defeat at Selhurst Park at the weekend.
The Daily Mail have reported that senior figures at Leicester have been left furious by the weekend’s result and are readying to sack the former Southampton manager.
The Foxes currently sit ninth in the Premier League table and have at no point this season really looked close to qualifying for European football next term.
Leicester still have home games against West Ham and Arsenal left before travelling to Wembley to take on Tottenham on the final day of the season.
