Fuchs signs a new three-year deal with Foxes
Leicester City left-back Christian Fuchs has signed a new three-year deal with the current reigning Champions.
Christian Fuchs, who was instrumental to Leicester’s remarkable season, will stay at the King Power Stadium till June, 2019.
Fuchs, who made 40 appearances for the Foxes since his free-transfer from Shalke in 2015, said: “We had a great season last-season and we’ve also done well in the Champions League so far this season.
“I’m happy here and I’ve had the best time of my career so far here. My name is the Austrian Fox now I’m staying with the English Foxes.
“Nobody expected what we achivied so far and I think there’s still a lot to come. We built a good foundation and I think we can aim for more.
“It’s a lot of fun being here and it’s amazing with the fans. Them and the club itself just make feel so happy to be here.”
Fuchs isn’t the only player to sign a new improved contract at Leicester. Riyad Mahrez, Jamie Vardy, Wes Morgan, Danny Simpson and Danny Drinkwater, have also signed contracts keeping their services for more years to come.
