Petition starts to get Maguire on the front of new £50 note
Football fans are wanting to see Leicester City defender Harry Maguire pictured on the new £50 notes, so they have taken matters into their own hands and started a petition in order to get it done.
As reported by the BBC, fans have taken to social media after it was confirmed that the Bank of England would not be scrapping the £50 note, as previously suggested and will now release a new plastic version.
This has resulted in calls for there to be a new face on the note and football fans up and down the country want to see the Leicester City man pictured front and centre.
