Leicester City’s home clash in the Carabao Cup against Southampton has been rearranged and will now take place on Tuesday 27 November.

The Foxes were set to lock horns with Mark Hughes’ Saints side on Tuesday 30 October but following the tragic passing of Leicester owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha on Saturday evening, the fixture was postponed.

However, a new date has now been set, with the two sides set to participate in the fourth round clash towards the end of November.

The fifth round draw for the Carabao Cup was revealed on Wednesday evening, with the winner of Leicester’s encounter with Southampton set to face a testing fixture in the next stage of the competition.

The victorious side will be tasked with facing either Manchester City or Fulham in the fifth round of the competition, with the two Premier League sides clashing on Thursday night.
