Leicester City duo Kasper Schmeichel and Wes Morgan have both been named in Garth Crooks’ team of the week.
Writing for the BBC, Crooks hailed both players for their performances and their composure on what was a difficult afternoon for all involved at the football club.
The Foxes beat Cardiff 1-0 in what was their first game since the tragic death of club owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.
Emotions were running high throughout the afternoon as the Foxes paid tribute to their late owner.
Schmeichel has been very vocal after the game as one of the many players to express their grievances.
While many considered the result insignificant on the day, the three points moves Leicester in the top half, with the Foxes now only four points behind Bournemouth in sixth.
Leicester welcome Burnley to the King Power on Saturday in what will be the first home game since the death of Khun Vichai.
