Leicester City will be buoyed by the return of star striker Jamie Vardy for their upcoming clash against Crystal Palace, the Daily Mail reports.
The former England international has been sidelined in recent weeks as he continues to work his way back from a groin problem.
After missing the Foxes’ last two outings, it is reported that he will be fit and available for selection as the team look to bounce back to winning ways against Roy Hodgson’s men.
Leicester boss Claude Puel discussed the condition of the 31-year-old with the media as he looked ahead to the match against the Eagles. The Frenchman said:
Jamie came back this morning with the squad and I think he will be in the squad for this game.
Vardy hasn’t scored freely this season but remains a pivotal player for his side. The forward has found the back of the net on five occasions from 12 Premier League appearances.
A win against Palace for Leicester could see them move up to seventh place on the table this weekend.
