Fenerbahce director Damien Comolli is ready to open talks with Leicester City regarding Portuguese midfielder Adrien Silva, according to a report on Sport Witness.
Turkish news outlet Ajansspor report that Fenerbahce have identified Silva as one of their top targets for the January transfer window.
Silva’s Leicester career doesn’t look like it will get going again after falling out of favour with manager Claude Puel.
The midfielder has been heavily linked with a move back to his former club Sporting Lisbon, but Fenerbahce are hoping to convince him to move to the Super Lig.
Silva has only made two league appearances this season and was mainly used by Puel in the Carabao Cup, where he made three appearances.
The midfielder’s current deal with the Foxes lasts until 2021 but he is set to leave the club after failing to impress since joining.
The 29-year-old is looking to get his career back on track and it looks like he will have a big decision to make about where he wants to play his football.
