Nottingham Forest have made a loan offer for Leicester City goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic.

According to journalist Geoff Peters, Forest have come in with an offer for the shot-stopper this week.

Jakupovic has not played a minute of first-team football for Leicester this season, with both Kasper Schmeichel and Danny Ward ahead of him in the pecking order at the King Power.

He joined Leicester from Hull City, where he impressed in the Premier League – despite their relegation to the Championship.

The Swiss goalkeeper played two Premier League games for Leicester last season, with a further two appearances in the cup.

Forest are looking to gain promotion from the Championship and are hoping to add Jakupovic to their squad this month on a loan deal.
