Leicester City were made to pay for poor defending early on as they lost 1-0 to Manchester United on Sunday.
Marcus Rashford opened the scoring in the first 15 minutes as he latched onto a Paul Pogba ball over the top and clinically dispatched it into the bottom corner.
Jamie Vardy had a few chances to snatch a point late on, but Leicester were ultimately unable to get anything from the game.
Here is how we rated their players…
Kasper Schmeichel: 7
No chance with the goal, but made some solid saves and was good with his feet.
Ricardo Pereira: 5
Awful clearance that led to the winning goal, had little impact going forward either.
Jonny Evans: 7
Had a fairly solid game at the back.
Harry Maguire: 5
Failed to react to Pogba’s ball over the top to Rashford and turned far too slowly.
Ben Chilwell: 6
Looked dangerous at times going forward.
Nampalys Mendy: 4
Should have been sent off and possibly have had two penalties given against him. Was awful.
Wilfred Ndidi: 5
Struggled to break up the play and offered nothing going forward.
Harvey Barnes: 6
Always looked dangerous on the ball, didn’t get enough service in the right areas of the pitch.
James Maddison: 6
Looked the most likely to create something for Leicester before he was bizarrely subbed by manager Claude Puel, a decision which was met by boo’s from the home crowd.
Demarai Gray: 5
Poor. Offered almost nothing.
Jamie Vardy: 6
Missed two decent chances, but worked his socks off up top.
