Tottenham eyeing Maddison move
Tottenham are eyeing a summer move for Leicester City star James Maddison as they look to add a homegrown player to their ranks.
According to The Mirror, Maddison is one of a number of English players Tottenham are targeting ahead of next season.
The report claims that Hull’s Jarrod Bowen, Leeds’ Jack Clarke, Bournemouth’s David Brooks and Norwich’s Max Aarons are among their summer transfer targets.
Maddison joined Leicester from Norwich last summer in a deal thought to be worth in the region of £24m, after he was named in the Championship Team of the Season.
He has five goals and four assists in the Premier League so far this term and has created the third most chances in the division.
The Mirror claim that Tottenham are eyeing Maddison as a potential replacement for Christian Eriksen, if the Danish international decides to join Real Madrid in the coming transfer window.
