Leicester City boss Claude Puel has dismissed reports that he had a bust-up with striker Jamie Vardy.

As reported on the Daily Mail, Puel insisted that he and Vardy have a good relationship.

The Englishman was visibly upset whilst Puel was speaking to Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba after the 1-0 defeat at the King Power Stadium.

His outburst was caught on camera but Puel brushed aside the claims of a rift between the pair.

He said:

I have a good relationship with him. We know Jamie – after he lost he is angry, it’s normal for a player.

If I thought one of my players was disrespectful to me or the club there would be a sanction but that was not the case.

The Foxes travel to Wembley Stadium this weekend to face Tottenham Hotspur and Vardy will be eager to get his name on the scoresheet to help his side bounce back with a win.
