Much has been made this season of the relationship between manager Claude Puel and striker Jamie Vardy.
From the outside looking in, it appears as though the two do not see eye to eye, which has led to the England international starting a number of games on the bench.
If the relationship doesn’t improve, Leicester may look to sign a new striker in the summer, but who could they target? We take a look at five potential options…
16 goals in the Serie A for Atalanta, on loan from Sampdoria. Zapata has shown his quality this season and would add something different to Leicester’s team.
With Fulham seemingly heading for relegation, Leicester could look to take advantage by swooping in and signing their impressive forward Aleksandar Mitrovic. The Serbian has 10 Premier League goals this season and is known for his physical prowess.
The Birmingham City forward has 19 Championship goals to his name already this season and is seen as one for the future. Puel is known for his faith in young players and Adams could be the next player he looks to develop.
The RB Leipzig forward has 12 Bundesliga goals this season and is a good runner off the ball. Leicester, however, may find it hard to tempt him away from European football.
Luuk De Jong
The PSV forward has 20 goals in 21 league appearances this season and has scored 104 goals in 190 games for the club since joining them in 2014. He could be worth a gamble from Leicester.
