Leicester interested in Rangers forward Morelos
Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is a transfer target for new Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers, according to The Express, via TEAMtalk, but he will not look at raiding his former club Celtic.
Morelos has been attracting attention from across Europe after scoring 26 goals in 35 games in all competitions so far this season, and is reportedly sought after by Rodgers.
The Leicester boss saw his side fall to a late 2-1 defeat against Watford in his first game in charge since replacing Claude Puel and despite his interest in the Rangers star, the report suggests he will not be looking to sign any of his former players at Celtic.
Rodgers is also said to be eyeing a move for Fenerbahce youngster Elif Elmas, who is highly regarded as one of Europe’s best young talents, and according to the report could set the Foxes back £30million should the Leicester boss look to complete a deal with the Turkish side.
The likes of Juventus, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Manchester City have also been keeping an eye on Elmas.
