Leicester will face competition from Arsenal in the race to sign Celtic defender Kieran Tierney this summer.
According to the Mirror, the Gunners have joined Leicester in pursuit of the Scot as they plan for life after Nacho Monreal.
The Spaniard is approaching the end of his time in London and Unai Emery’s men have identified Tierney as a potential long-term replacement.
Leicester themselves are known admirers, with Brendan Rodgers all too familiar with the player from his time with Celtic. It is Rodgers who is widely credited for his development in Scotland.
Manchester City are still believed to be interested in a deal to sign Ben Chilwell and Tierney is viewed as an ideal replacement for the England international.
Borussia Dortmund had also been touted as a potential destination for Tierney, but the Bundesliga side have since cooled their interest, believing he would be ‘too expensive’.
Alternative left-backs Leicester could target
Gibbs could be a bargain option if West Brom do not achieve promotion to the Premier League.
Joe Bryan could be available if Fulham do drop into the second tier.
Max Lowe has earned plenty of admirers coming through the ranks at Derby County, one to keep an eye on.
Max Clark is another who impressed in the Championship before moving to Vitesse in the Eredivisie.
