Leicester scout Portuguese starlet Felix
Leicester City had scouts in attendance to watch Benfica starlet Joao Felix against Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League this week, according to reports.
The Portuguese side took on Zagreb in the second leg of their Round of 16 Europa League tie, winning 3-0 on the night and progressing to the quarter-finals.
19-year forward Joao Felix came off the bench for the final half hour, where a number of clubs had arrived to watch him play.
The Portugal youth international has attracted significant attention this season, with the Foxes just one of many English sides to register an interest.
According to A Bola, as reported by Sport Witness, Leicester were joined by scouts from Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City, Wolves, Watford, Everton, Fulham, Tottenham and Newcastle, all of whom attended Thursday night’s game.
While differing reports suggest different price tags for the young starlet, the general consensus is that Felix would cost between €30million and €40million.
