Fenerbahce are apparently interested in a loan switch for Leicester City’s Caglar Soyuncu according to reports in Turkey.
Despite only moving to the Foxes last Summer, Soyuncu has been linked with a move away from Leicester with Fenerbahce wanting him as a replacement for Martin Skrtel.
The former Liverpool man is set to exit the club after not agreeing on a new deal with the Turkish Superlig side.
This means that Fenerbahce are interested in a deal for Soyuncu, and according to Fotomac, the Turkish side will attempt to sign the defender on loan this Summer.
Leicester could be reluctant to let the defender go, but with Brendan Rodgers favouring other defensive options, they could see it as a good opportunity to hand Soyuncu some regular first-team action.
Fenerbahce have loaned Leicester striker Islam Slimani this season. However, the Algerian has failed to impress in Turkey, following his poor performances in the Premier League for the Foxes.
The Turkish side are hoping that their previous dealings with the Foxes will hand them some advantages in signing Soyuncu on a loan deal next season.
