Leicester have had endured an incredibly inconsistent season throughout the 2018/19 campaign, winning 12 and losing 14 of their 31 league games so far.
Despite picking up impressive victories over Chelsea and Manchester City respectively, the Foxes have also suffered defeats against relegation threatened Cardiff and Southampton.
Life under new boss Brendan Rodgers appears to have lifted the mood at the King Power Stadium, however, with his style of football already a hit with the players and fans.
The number of young players at Rodgers’ disposal has also given supporters a reason to be optimistic given the manager’s track record when it comes to developing promising players, with many having already impressed this season.
We asked you to vote for your player of the season following a campaign of ups and downs, and here are the results.
15: Kelechi Iheanacho, 0%
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Iheanacho won none of the duels against his teammates as supporters voted for the clubs best player this season. The striker has scored just once in 25 Premier League appearances.
14: Demarai Gray, 2%
Contrary to Iheanacho, there is a strong argument for Gray to be further up in this list following a strong season for the 21-year-old.
13: Nampalys Mendy, 4%
Mendy has had a fairly solid campaign in midfield for Leicester this season, but hasn’t done enough to challenge for a spot higher in the list.
12: Kasper Schmeichel, 13%
Schmeichel has been a consistent figure for a number of years for the Foxes, and is another who has had a solid campaign.
11: Wes Morgan, 16%
Morgan’s highlight of the season thus far came in Leicester’s last league game when he scored a 90th minute winner against Burnley.
10: Jonny Evans, 16%
Joint with Morgan with 16%, Evans is perhaps slightly higher in the list than expected given he has only started 19 games in the league this season.
9: Hamza Choudhury, 25%
Another who is higher than expected is Hamza Choudhury. The midfielder has looked sharp when given the chance this season, but he has only featured five times in the league.
8: Harvey Barnes, 39%
Barnes is another who has impressed this season. The winger spent the first half of the campaign on loan with West Brom before being recalled in January and handed his Premier League debut against Wolves. There appears to be a lot more to come from Barnes in the future.
7: Harry Maguire, 49%
The defender the nation fell in love with last summer, Maguire won just under half of his duels in our poll.
6: Wilfred Ndidi, 54%
Ndidi has had a strong season in Leicester’s midfield, featuring in every Premier League game for the Foxes.
5: Youri Tielemans, 57%
Despite only signing on loan for Leicester in January, Tielemans has done enough in his six Premier League games so far to earn him a spot in the top five. Rodgers will surely be looking to sign the midfielder permanently this summer given his impressive form this year.
4: James Maddison, 63%
Maddison has had a brilliant debut season in the Premier League following his move from Norwich last summer, and was unlucky to be left out of Gareth Southgate’s most recent England squad.
3: Jamie Vardy, 67%
An ever-present figure up front for Leicester, Vardy makes it into the top three in our duel.
2: Ben Chilwell, 69%
Chilwell just pips Vardy to second spot, and the full back certainly deserves to be in contention for Leicester’s best player this season following a fine campaign.
1: Ricardo Pereira, 86%
Pereira was the standout winner with 86%, and the versatile full back looks certain to be a contender for signing of the season following his move from Porto last summer.
