Leicester City and West Ham United battled the scorching weather conditions at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon to play out a thrilling 2-2 stalemate.
Michail Antonio headed the hosts ahead at the end of a stale first half but Jamie Vardy’s 67th-minute leveller appeared to spark the contest into life.
Lucas Perez was only on the pitch for four minutes before he tapped West Ham back ahead with less than 10 minutes to go and should’ve had a second, only to be wrongly denied by the offside flag.
The unfavourable decisions mirrored those at Manchester United last time out and Leicester pounced as Harvey Barnes completed an impressive showing off the bench by netting a stoppage-time equaliser shortly afterwards.
It may feel like a win for Brendan Rodgers’ side, but they slipped into eighth following Watford’s gritty win at Huddersfield Town in Yorkshire.
There was plenty of character on show for the Foxes to come back from behind twice though, and this is how supporters ranked the top five performers after full-time.
5 - Youri Tielemans
Added another assist to his name during an impressive stint so far in England and kicks off the countdown with 58%.
4 - Kasper Schmeichel
It was a relatively quiet day for the Dane apart from the two goals but he earns 64%.
=3 - Jamie Vardy
Notched his 16th of the season, equalling Player of the Year-nominated Hazard’s tally, and is joint third with 67%.
=3 - James Maddison
Looked lively behind Vardy, making one key pass, and gained the same amount of votes as the forward.
2 - Ricardo Pereira
Was a threat going forward and won seven out of 11 duels over the 90 minutes – he’s second with 70%.
1 - Harvey Barnes
Was only on the pitch for less than half an hour but constantly looked to get the Foxes that crucial goal and is your Man of the Match with 85%.
