Leicester City fans will go into the summer hopeful of what is to come next year under Brendan Rodgers.
The Northern Irishman joined earlier this year from Scottish giants Celtic and has impressed in his first few months at the club.
He took over from Claude Puel and has brought the joy back to the King Power, making fans wonder how good it could get next season as they fight for a Europa League place again.
One potential issue for Leicester this summer could be Harry Maguire. There has been speculation over his future, so what would happen if Leicester fail to keep hold of him and he makes a big money move to a top six club?
Rodgers would need to bring in a new centre-back to bolster his squad and start in the Premier League next season.
With that in mind, here are some centre-backs Leicester could target this summer…
The Burnley central defender has been linked with a move to Leicester recently and could be a good replacement for Maguire. The England international has impressed in recent seasons for Sean Dyche’s side.
The impressive Brentford centre-back could be a great addition to Leicester’s core group of promising home grown talent. He could fit right in with the likes of Harvey Barnes, James Maddison and Demarai Gray.
Duffy has been a solid member of Brighton’s squad over the last two seasons in the Premier League and could be ready for a move away from the south coast. Leicester could tempt him with the prospect of a European push.
After Leeds failed to secure promotion out of the Championship, Leicester could swoop in and secure a deal for Pontus Jansson. The Swedish defender has been a rock in the second tier over the last three campaigns.
If Derby lose to Aston Villa in the play-off final later this month, Leicester should target Tomori. On loan from Chelsea, Leicester should look to snap him up on a permanent deal.
