Bournemouth ready to sell Ibe with Rodgers a “fan”
Bournemouth are ready to listen to offers for winger Jordan Ibe and Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers is said to be a fan.
According to The Mirror, Rodgers remains a fan of Ibe since giving him his debut when he was the manager of Liverpool.
The report claims that Bournemouth are ready to let Ibe move on, due to the fact that his contract expires at the end of next season.
Ibe signed for Bournemouth from Liverpool in a £15m deal back in 2016, but has failed to live up to the hype of his arrival.
In 74 Premier League games, Ibe has managed to score two goals for the club, and is mainly used as a substitute by Eddie Howe.
Leicester could now make a swoop for Ibe and add him to their growing list of young, homegrown, players – with the likes of Ben Chilwell, Demarai Gray, Harvey Barnes and James Maddison.
