Leicester City winger Fousseni Diabate has been linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium to Turkish giants Besiktas.

The winger spent the second half of last season on loan at Turkish Super Lig side Sivasspor, where he featured 17 times.

And according to Turkish media outlet Gunes, cited by Leicester Mercury, the Foxes want €3 million for the 23-year-old, however, the Turkish side are hopeful of getting him for €2 million.

Diabate’s contract doesn’t run out until 2022, he signed in 2018 for €2 million from Ligue 2 side Gazelec Ajaccio.

Leicester would have been hoping that the signing would have been more of a success.

Former Foxes Anthony Knockaert and Riyad Mahrez played in Ligue 2, while N’Golo Kante was also a regular in the division before a season in the French top flight.

With Brendan Rodgers replacing Claude Puel as manager, he will want to bring in players of his own in order to help Leicester push for a spot in Europe.
