The Foxes took the Belgian midfielder on a loan deal in the January transfer window midway through last season.
Tielemans impressed under Claude Puel before he was sacked and proceeded to shine following the appointment of Brendan Rodgers, who has pushed to secure his services permanently.
The young midfielder joins in a deal believed to be worth £40 million from AS Monaco, who signed him from RSC Anderlecht as he began to catch the eye on the European stage.
Tielemans has put pen to paper on a four-year contract at the King Power Stadium and will join up with the squad subject to international and Premier League clearance.
The 22-year-old becomes Leicester’s third signing of the summer transfer window already. James Justin arrived from Luton Town in June, and Ayoze Perez has also joined in a £30 million deal from Newcastle United.
