Leicester City are eyeing up Brighton star Lewis Dunk as a possible replacement for Harry Maguire.
According to The Mirror, Leicester are prepared to make an offer for Dunk if Maguire leaves the club this summer.
The report claims that Leicester are holding out for a world-record fee for Maguire. The current record is £75m, which Liverpool paid Southampton for Virgil Van Dijk in January 2018.
Maguire has impressed at the back for Leicester and England over the last two years and is starting to attract interest from some of the biggest clubs in the country.
Dunk, meanwhile, has caught the eye with his performances for Brighton towards the bottom of the Premier League table.
The Mirror claim that it would take a fee in the region of £40m for Leicester to be able to snap him up if Maguire were to leave.
Burnley defender James Tarkowski is also said to be under consideration by Leicester.
