Leicester reportedly make €20m move for Praet
Leicester City have reportedly made an offer to sign Dennis Praet from Sampdoria.
According to claims from Il Secolo XIX, as cited by Italian news outlet Calciomercato, the Foxes have opened the bidding with a move worth in the region of €20 million for the playmaker.
Praet enjoyed a strong campaign with Sampdoria last term, and as a consequence of his consistently impressive displays, numerous clubs are understood to be in the race for his signature.
La Liga outfit Valencia had reportedly entered advanced negotiations with the Serie A club over a possible deal for the Belgian, but it seems Leicester are making a late swoop for his signature.
With James Maddison available and having already recruited Ayoze Perez, who can operate in the hole, it comes as somewhat surprising to see the Foxes linked with a swoop for another player in the attacking midfield role.
However, Leicester are understood by Il Secolo XIX to be in the hunt for Praet’s signature, along with AC Milan and Arsenal.
