So, who could they sign on loan before Thursday’s deadline? Here are some centre-backs Leicester could target in the coming days…
Leicester have been linked with a move for Tomori already this summer. The defender spent last season on loan to Derby County in the Premier League, helping them reach the play-off final.
With Manchester United signing Maguire from Leicester, they could decide to send Tuanzebe out on loan in the coming days. He was promoted with Aston Villa last season, catching the eye at centre-back.
The young Manchester City defender was given a taste of first-team football by Pep Guardiola last season. Leicester could offer him the chance to play regular football in the Premier League.
Zouma was on loan to Everton in the Premier League last term, but still remains a Chelsea player at this moment in time. The French international would offer plenty of Premier League experience to Brendan Rodgers.
