Leicester plotting move for Vedat Muriqi
Leicester are reportedly ready to make a January move for Vedat Muriqi but could face competition from Tottenham.
According to Sport Witness, Ajansspor journalist Ekrem Konur believes Leicester are interested in signing the 25-year-old forward after sending scouts to watch him in Fenerbahce’s 5-2 win over Genclerbirligi last week.
The report continues by suggesting Leicester are preparing a ‘very solid offer’ for Muriqi in January, but Spurs also watched the striker in the 5-2 win and could rival the Foxes.

Interest in Muriqi from the Premier League is hardly surprising given the form he has been in for club and country this season.
The 25-year-old has scored 10 goals in just 14 appearances for Fenerbahce thus far, whilst also finding the back of the net in each of his last three games for Kosovo.
And while Brendan Rodgers will no doubt be keen to strengthen his squad in January, Kelechi Iheanacho’s recent performances could see the Leicester boss focus on bolstering his options elsewhere rather than making a move for Muriqi.
