Leicester fans hail Youri Tielemans after another influential display for Belgium
A number of Leicester City fans have been heaping praise on Youri Tielemans following yet another star showing for Belgium.
The 23-year-old has enjoyed an excellent start to the season, proving to be a key player for the Foxes.
Tielemans’ performances have helped Brendan Rodgers’ side top the Premier League table currently, with six wins out of eight and some scintillating football on show.
The Belgian has three goals to his name in the league, playing every single minute to date and providing all-round quality in the middle of the park.
It isn’t only at Leicester where Tielemans is thriving, however, with the midfielder become an increasingly important figure for Belgium.
He scored in Sunday’s 2-0 win over England before opening the scoring in his country’s 4-2 victory at home to Denmark last night, firing past Foxes teammate Kasper Schmeichel in the process.
Tielemans did not look out of place in a side also featuring the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku, and given his age, he has every chance of maturing into a truly formidable footballer.
These Leicester fans were keeping a close eye on Tielemans’ impact on Twitter, lauding him after another big contribution, suggesting he is primed to shine away to Liverpool this weekend. Indeed, one supporter feels that the Belgian is “playing the best football in his career” right now.
